I have been a thousand places, and seen so many things;
I have struggled to keep pace, Oh the mess this madness brings-
I have wandered and I’ve wondered, “Will I ever see the End?”
Grateful now, I’ve lived to see what lurks around the bend!
Many faces, masks I’ve worn-They keep pain hid from view,
I would shed them all at once to get a glimpse of you.
Haters claimed I would come to some dreadful, fiery end
Burning up the money they (so kindly) would not lend.
With your help I made it here, and here I now stand tall,
No longer lost, alone or mad, I fear death not at all.
One day very soon we shall forever be held fast
To the Love that never wavers, the Love that ever-lasts.
