Loving You to Death

   You, in the jail elevator:

   boyfriend of my cellmate,

   notorious. violent. big time con.

  object of my devotion, obsession.

Twisted fate frees us to mate

you taught me the meaning of hate,

green eyes glowing like a demon

    when you choked me unconcious.

   still- i adore you,

i take the fall, and all the falls to come.

your girlfriends call me lucky to have you,

    i just call me dumb.

a victim of my obsession, how i worshiped you.

the day you sold me out

  was our anniversary.

i made such a wonderful meal,

  Image

  your favorite dish:

suffering with a side of misery,

and a nice little heartbreak for dessert.
